Watch this movie!!! Personally, when it got to the middle, I suddenly started missing movies in which people killed people in a more direct way. Now I don't know if we're committing suicide at a global level or genocide... patricide... matricide... infanticide... fratricide since some people are actually trying to change something. An Inconvenient Truth is a documentary in which Al Gore brings cogent arguments when it comes to taking some action against global warming. Not to mention good proof that it exists... for those who believe it's a myth. Just consider the fact that... Texas was hit by hurricane Humberto the other day (not guessed to be of such high magnitude... mostly because scientists can no longer predict their intensity) Polar bears are dying because there are no more icebergs and they swim and swim until they drown exhausted (never happened before) there are Tornadoes in our own country, Romania (never happened before) floods are practically deleting cities off the map (well... it happened before... but he had an ark) diseases which were thought long gone are back (like Ebola in Congo) The cycle of animals is affected by the weather, thus more and more are either dying, trespassing on other territories or multiplying (like the insects, rats and all other creatures that bring back diseases from the middle ages because the animals that were supposed to get rid of them are dying... ugly faith) on the 31st of August there were 40 and some Celsius degrees and on the 1st of September around 20 (you think that's normal?) there were around 20 earthquakes in Indonesia followed by a tsunami And there are so many more... THINK!!! QUESTION REALITY!!! It is not a joke. Do you think it's funny that women have adapted to global warming by wearing less clothes and men started drinking beer? You really think it's funny that in Romania one in three people dies of cancer? Dies of cancer... not gets cancer. Do you actually laugh when you see those commercials while at the same time millions of people have lost their houses and loved ones because of these "mythical" changes? "Are you ready to change the way you live?" 1. Buy energy efficient appliances + light bulbs 2. Change your thermostat (and use clock thermostats) to reduce energy for heating +cooling 3. Recycle (what the hell, throw your damn garbage in the cans at least) 4. If you can, buy a hybrid car... ride a bicycle or even walk 5. Tell your parents not to ruin the world you live in... if a parent think of your kids 6. Plant trees... lots and lots IF YOU BELIEVE IN PRAYER , PRAY THAT PEOPLE WILL FIND THE STRENGTH TO CHANGE. IN THE WORDS OF THE OLD AFRICAN PROVERB, WHEN YOU PRAY... MOVE YOUR FEET!!! Become conscious of this!! Don't believe it's something unimportant... Let this message get to you and open your heart. Try to forget about this frenzied life, stop running for a second and truly live a moment for you will see how beautiful this world is and how we've complicated everything and even destroyed so much. If you think... hey... God... I actually think that he can't see us anymore through that layer of pollution. Most of all... don't lose hope and don't give up. You are not alone.
